Buy WoW Gold
WoW Classic gold on the Anniversary, TBC, MoP, Season of Discovery and Hardcore realms, and retail World of Warcraft gold on Midnight. Rates posted per realm, delivered from stock we already hold.
Which WoW are you playing?
Every realm runs its own auction house and nothing carries gold between retail and Classic, so there is no single price. Whether you buy WoW Classic gold or retail gold, each version has its own stock, its own rate and its own delivery window.
What WoW gold costs, version by version
The lowest rate on offer in each version, and what that money is actually for. Some versions price realm by realm; on retail one rate covers all of them.

What WoW gold is worth, and why it is never one number
There is no single price for WoW gold, and anyone quoting you one is quoting you an average of things that cannot be averaged. Every realm runs its own auction house, which means its own supply, its own demand and its own price. And nothing carries gold between retail and Classic in either direction: they are separate games running separate economies.
The gap between those markets is not small. A thousand gold on a Classic Era realm costs more than a thousand gold on a retail realm by a factor of roughly eighty, because the two economies print currency at completely different rates. A retail character clearing a Mythic+ week earns more gold than a vanilla character earns in a month of play. Neither number is wrong. They are measuring different currencies that happen to share a name.
That is why this site prices realm by realm rather than version by version. The rate you care about is the one on the realm your character is standing on, and it sits next to how much stock is actually behind it, so you can see whether your order fills in one hand-off or several.
Connected realms share one gold market
On retail, Blizzard has merged most realms into connected groups. Characters on a connected realm share an auction house, a mail system and the ability to trade, which means they share one gold market and one price. Buying on Aerie Peak is buying on Bronzebeard, because for every purpose that matters they are the same realm.
Every retail realm page here lists the group it belongs to. If your realm is connected to a bigger one, you have more stock available and usually a better rate than the realm name alone suggests. Classic works the other way: its realms stand alone, which is exactly why Classic gold is scarcer and dearer.
Retail has a second route that Classic does not. The Warband Bank holds gold for your whole account, so you can deposit it on one character and withdraw it on another sitting on a different realm, or on the opposite faction, anywhere in your region. The realm you take delivery on therefore sets the price you pay, not the place the gold is stuck. Classic has no Warband Bank at all: gold delivered to a Classic realm stays on that realm.
Not sure which version you are on?
Open the game launcher. The version selector above the Play button tells you outright. World of Warcraft is retail; everything else is labelled: Classic Era, Anniversary, Season of Discovery, Hardcore, Mists of Pandaria Classic.
If you rolled a character on a fresh realm in late 2024 and have since stepped through the Dark Portal, you are on the Anniversary realms. If your character can engrave runes into gear, that is Season of Discovery. If dying deletes the character, that is Hardcore. If none of those describe it and your gear has item levels in the hundreds of thousands, you are on retail.

Questions worth asking
How much does WoW gold cost?
There is no one price, because there is no one market. Each realm is priced on its own supply and demand, and the spread across our board is wide enough that the dearest realm costs roughly eighty times the cheapest per thousand gold. That is not a markup but the difference between a Classic economy and a retail one.
The table above shows the cheapest realm we hold in each version. The rate for the realm you actually play on is on that realm's own page, next to how much stock sits behind it.
Why is WoW gold cheaper on some realms than others?
Supply, mostly. A realm with a large, active population generates far more gold per day than a quiet one, so the same dollar buys more of it. Retail realms connected into a bigger group share one auction house and one price, which is why a small-sounding realm can carry a big realm's rate.
Demand pushes the other way. A fresh realm where everyone is levelling at once has buyers competing for a thin float, and the price reflects that until the economy matures.
How do you buy WoW gold without getting banned?
The risk cannot be reduced to zero. Blizzard's End User License Agreement prohibits trading in-game currency for real money, and accounts caught doing it can be suspended or closed with the gold removed. Anyone promising a ban-proof method is selling you something.
What lowers the risk in practice: take sensible amounts rather than one enormous transfer, accept delivery from held stock instead of a freshly botted farm, split large orders across several hand-offs over a few days, and never give account details to anybody. We do the first three by default and will never ask for the fourth.
Where is the safest place to buy WoW gold?
Judge a seller on three things. Does it hold stock, or take your money and go farming afterwards, which is the difference between a two-hour delivery and a two-day wait. Does it publish rates and remaining stock openly rather than quoting privately. And does it ever ask for account access: a legitimate seller needs a character name and nothing else.
What do you need from me?
A character name, its realm and faction, and an email for the invoice. Nothing else. Your Battle.net login, password and authenticator codes are never part of this, and anyone asking for them is not us.
What if the gold never arrives?
Full refund if we have not delivered within twice the posted time for your realm. Partial fills refund pro-rata on whatever has not landed, at the rate you paid.
How much is a WoW Token worth in gold?
The Token price floats with demand on Blizzard's own market and changes daily, so check it in game before comparing.
A Token converts real money into retail gold within the rules. Buying gold is cheaper per thousand and works on Classic, Anniversary, Season of Discovery and Hardcore realms where no Token exists, but it breaks the EULA. If you play retail only and the Token rate is decent, the Token is the safer choice and we will say so.
