About WoW Classic Era Gold

The permanent vanilla realms. A thin economy means gold buys far more here than the rate suggests. Nobody is listing gold on these 18 realms at the moment, so there is nothing priced here today. The pages stay up for what they are worth on their own: the economy, the faction split and what gold actually buys.

Era realms are frozen in 1.12 forever, so nothing new enters the economy except what players farm. Prices have been flat for years, which makes these the most predictable realms we price.

Gold moves neither between versions of WoW nor between Classic realms. There is no Warband Bank here, so gold delivered to a realm stays on that realm. Pick your realm and faction, and the offer card prices it exactly, hand-off surcharge included, before you send anything.

What your gold buys here

  • Epic mount / 1,000g — still the classic goal
  • Full Nature Resistance set — for AQ40 progression
  • Raid consumables for a full clear — 120–250g

Where gold goes in Classic Era

Era realms are frozen in patch 1.12 permanently. Nothing new enters the economy except what players farm, which makes these the most predictable prices we quote, and the slowest gold to earn.

Epic mount at 601,000g, or 900g at Honored, or 800g if you stack discounts
The classic goal and still the big one. The base price is 1,000g, the standard 10% reputation discount at Honored with your race's capital brings it to about 900g, and stacking a second discount can reach 800g. At Era farming rates of 50 to 80 gold an hour with no daily quests to lean on, that is eleven to eighteen hours of focused gold-making. Paladins and Warlocks earn theirs through a quest chain instead and get off comparatively cheaply.
Mount at 40100g (20g for training, 80g for the mount)
The first real wall, and it arrives when your income is still tiny. Most characters that stall in the forties stall here.
Respecsclimbing every time
Respec cost rises with each use and decays only slowly. Players who switch between raiding and levelling specs pay it repeatedly, and it adds up faster than almost anyone budgets for.
Raid consumables and resistance gear120 to 250g per full clear
A full raid clear costs 120 to 250g in consumables per raider. Progression through the resistance-gated content on top of that means crafted sets and the materials to make them, which is where a lot of Era gold quietly disappears.

Why players buy Classic Era gold

The economy is deflated by design

No daily quest gold faucets, no catch-up mechanics, no inflation from new content. Gold is hard to accumulate here, which is why a modest purchase goes further than it would anywhere else.

Prices have been flat for years

Nothing new is coming to Era, so there is no patch cycle to time a purchase around. What you pay this month is what you would have paid last month.

Thin float, real scarcity

Some Era realms are very quiet. The stock figures on this page are real, and on the smaller realms they are small, which is why the rate rises as the realm shrinks.

The mount is the whole game for most buyers

The majority of Era gold we sell is somebody deciding that eleven to eighteen hours of farming is not how they want to spend their evenings.

How buying gold here works

Six steps, no account needed to see prices, and nothing asked of you beyond a character name and an email.

  1. Pick your realm and amountOpen an offer and the card prices it as you type the amount: the rate, and the surcharge if you pick the faster hand-off. Nothing is hidden until checkout because there is no checkout gate.
  2. Choose how you take deliveryIn-game mail costs nothing extra and needs you to do nothing at all. Face-to-face in a capital is the fastest and adds 4%. An auction-house buy-out adds 6% and covers the house's own cut.
  3. Send the orderCharacter name, realm, faction and an email. That is the complete list. No account, no password, no authenticator code, not now and not later.
  4. Your rate locks for 20 minutesIf the realm re-marks lower inside that window you pay the lower price. If it re-marks higher, you still pay what you were quoted.
  5. A courier is assigned from held stockWe are not going farming at this point. The gold already exists and the float shown against your realm is what we are drawing from.
  6. Take delivery and confirmLarge orders arrive split across several hand-offs over a few days rather than one enormous transfer. If we miss twice the posted time for your realm, the order refunds in full without you opening a ticket.

What we stand behind

Delivered from stock

We hold the gold before you order it. No farming queue, no waiting on supply the day after you pay.

Delivered on the clock

Every realm carries a posted delivery time. Miss it by double and the order refunds in full, automatically.

The price you were quoted

Your rate locks for 20 minutes. If the realm re-marks lower in that window, you pay the lower one.

We never touch your account

Character name and email, nothing more. No Battle.net login, no password, no authenticator code, ever.

Questions worth asking

How much does WoW Classic Era Gold cost?

Nobody is listing gold on these realms at the moment, so there is no price to quote. When a seller posts one, it appears in the list above with their name against it.

Which Classic Era realm has the cheapest gold?

None of them, at the moment: no seller is listing gold on these realms, so there is no cheapest and no dearest. The pages are still here for the economy behind each realm.

Can I move Classic Era gold to another version of WoW?

No. Every version of WoW runs a separate economy with separate characters. Classic Era gold stays in Classic Era, and no transfer, token or trade moves it anywhere else.

How do you buy WoW gold without getting banned?

The risk cannot be reduced to zero. Blizzard's End User License Agreement prohibits trading in-game currency for real money, and accounts caught doing it can be suspended or closed with the gold removed. Anyone promising a ban-proof method is selling you something.

What lowers the risk in practice: take sensible amounts rather than one enormous transfer, accept delivery from held stock instead of a freshly botted farm, split large orders across several hand-offs over a few days, and never give account details to anybody. We do the first three by default and will never ask for the fourth.

Where is the safest place to buy WoW gold?

Judge a seller on three things. Does it hold stock, or take your money and go farming afterwards, which is the difference between a two-hour delivery and a two-day wait. Does it publish rates and remaining stock openly rather than quoting privately. And does it ever ask for account access: a legitimate seller needs a character name and nothing else.

What do you need from me?

A character name, its realm and faction, and an email for the invoice. Nothing else. Your Battle.net login, password and authenticator codes are never part of this, and anyone asking for them is not us.

What if the gold never arrives?

Full refund if we have not delivered within twice the posted time for your realm. Partial fills refund pro-rata on whatever has not landed, at the rate you paid.
