Where gold goes on the Anniversary realms
The Anniversary realms went through the Dark Portal in January 2026 and are currently on Phase 2: Serpentshrine Cavern, Tempest Keep and Arena Season 2. Almost all of the spending here funnels into one number.

- Artisan Riding is a flat 5,000g and this is the one price in the expansion you cannot negotiate down, because reputation discounts apply to ordinary training but not to Expert or Artisan Riding. At Phase 2 gold-making rates of roughly 200 to 350 gold an hour, that is fifteen to twenty-five hours of farming for one character, before you have bought a single flask. It is the reason most people on these realms buy gold at all.

No. Every version of WoW runs a separate economy with separate characters. Classic Anniversary gold stays in Classic Anniversary, and no transfer, token or trade moves it anywhere else.
How do you buy WoW gold without getting banned?
